I’ve long held a passion for photography.

When you are starting out it just seems easier to photograph a landscape then brave the thought of trying to master portraits.

Growing up in the Steel City of Sheffield landscapes tend to be a little industrial. Back in 2016 I walked the street on my lunch break and captured a variety of photos.

The Sheffield Canal can be stunning at times. The vibrant colours of the boats with the hard steel background make for a fun composition.

Walk just 5 minutes further towards the train station and see a mix of old and new side by side.

Then contrast that with the beautiful botanical gardens.
