&lt;p&gt;I&amp;rsquo;ve followed the &lt;a href="https://www.sheffieldsteelers.co.uk/"&gt;Sheffield Steelers&lt;/a&gt; since their inception back in 1991. The World Student Games came to Sheffield and left a legacy of facilities including the Sheffield Arena.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My friend managed to get some tickets, so I went with his family. Sat in the stands with approximately 300 people I watch my first ice hockey game. To be honest, like many North American heavy sports, there were so many stop/starts, penalties and fights that it was hard to understand. &lt;p&gt;I&amp;rsquo;ve long held a passion for photography.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;When you are starting out it just seems easier to photograph a landscape then brave the thought of trying to master portraits.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Growing up in the Steel City of Sheffield landscapes tend to be a little industrial. Back in 2016 I walked the street on my lunch break and captured a variety of photos.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Sheffield Canal can be stunning at times. The vibrant colours of the boats with the hard steel background make for a fun composition.&lt;/p&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
